GGPoker on iOS: installing on iPhone without the App Store
Where the App Store does not carry the client, the room distributes its iPhone version through an enterprise profile: you install from a link in Safari and approve it once in settings. Standard practice for poker rooms - with a few traps.
Open the room's download page in Safari, tap Install in the iOS section, confirm the profile, then go to Settings - General - VPN and Device Management and trust the developer. After that the app launches like any other. It must be Safari: other browsers on iPhone cannot install profiles.
Step by step
Safari only
The install link works from Safari; Chrome, in-app browsers and mail clients will not install a profile.
Install the profile
The iPhone asks permission to download a configuration profile. Confirm.
Trust the developer
Settings - General - VPN and Device Management - the room's profile - Trust. Without it the icon appears but the app will not open.
First launch
Longer than usual while the client fetches resources; then sign in or register via the partner button.
The app installed but will not open
Most often the trust step was skipped. The second cause is a revoked profile: Apple periodically invalidates enterprise certificates, and the app stops launching for everyone at once. The cure is the same - delete the app, open the room\'s site in Safari and reinstall from the fresh link. Balance and history are untouched; they live on the server.
Integrity check error
"Unable to verify app integrity" appears when the phone cannot reach Apple\'s servers to check the profile, or the profile is already invalid. Make sure there is internet and no VPN, then retry; failing that, reinstall.
