In short
Verdict: who GGPoker suits and who should keep looking
GGPoker suits players who want live traffic at every stake, a dense tournament schedule with guarantees and rakeback that grows with volume. Newcomers get a choice of two welcome packages, three daily-freeroll tickets and a month of missions. Regulars get Ocean Rewards with up to 80% returned at the top tier and a status that holds until the end of the following year.
Keep looking if you need third-party HUD software (banned across the network) or the lowest possible rake at micro stakes - here it is higher than at niche rooms and offset only by rakeback.
Getting started
What a new player gets: two bonuses, tickets and a Honeymoon
On the first deposit you choose. Option one is 100% up to $600 matched: the deposit is doubled into a bonus balance that converts to cash at $1 per $5 of rake paid, with 90 days to clear and 60 days to top up with further deposits. Minimum deposit $10.
Option two is $100 in rewards: $52 of tournament tickets over the first 6 days and up to $48 in cash-game dollars for daily All-In or Fold missions, from a $20 deposit. For a small bankroll the second option usually wins: value arrives immediately rather than after a grind.
On top: Honeymoon for Newcomers - 30 days of daily missions worth up to $400 - and three daily-freeroll tickets on sign-up. Details: GGPoker bonus, Honeymoon, freerolls.

Loyalty
Ocean Rewards: how the room returns rake
Every dollar of rake in real-money games earns 100 TP per $1 of rake. Tide Points move you through 8 tiers, from Fish at 16% to Shark at 80%. Shark needs 10,000,000 TP a year, roughly $100,000 in rake; Crab, where the return becomes noticeable, needs 50,000 TP.
Rewards arrive as GEMs, an internal currency exchanged for dollars at 1,000 GEMs per $1 for small amounts down to 660 GEMs per $1 from 33,000,000 GEM. Points reset on 1 January at 00:00 UTC, but the tier earned holds until the end of the following year. Full breakdown: GGPoker rakeback.

Cashier: deposits, withdrawals and the closed loop
Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with - the closed-loop rule. A request is processed in 24 hours as a rule, up to 72 hours; bank transfers add 1-3 business days. Above 3000 EUR per month the room may ask for source-of-funds documents, and large wins can be paid in instalments of $20,000 per month. Verification usually takes 24 hours; without it a withdrawal waits 7 days for documents and is then cancelled.
