GGPoker freerolls: schedule, tickets and the Saturday $100,000
A freeroll is a tournament with no buy-in and real prizes. GGPoker runs two a day plus a Saturday $100,000 event, and entry is by tickets earned for signing up, depositing and playing hands. It is the most honest way to start real-money play without funding the account.

How it works in practice
Right after registration you hold 3 tickets for the Daily Freeroll, which runs twice a day and pays seats into the Saturday event - 2,000 seats each day. Saturday pays real money from a $100,000 pool. A deposit adds 3 tickets more, and every 100 hands of cash play earn another. The hand counter resets at 00:00 UTC-8.
What people actually win
Daily fields are thousands strong and most players are gone in the first hour. Reaching Saturday is realistic with disciplined play: push-fold early, patience against the all-in crowd. Saturday is long, prizes spread across many places, and even the far end of the money is enough to sit down at a micro-stakes table. That is how many players build a first bankroll with no deposit - just not something to count on as income.
Playing a freeroll to reach the money
- Early levels: strong hands only. Half the field shoves anything; waiting is fine.
- Middle stage: count your stack in big blinds; under ten it is push or fold, no limping.
- Near the bubble the field tightens; aggression against short stacks pays.
- A Saturday ticket is not a reason to gamble it away: real money, real opponents.
